Unique pieces from the Cretaceous Period, when India was was submerge under prehistoric Tethys Ocean, these lovely rare gastropods emerged.  These fossils are composed of Chalcedony Quartz and druzy.  
 
The piece you are viewing are very rare and are found embedded in hard rock matrix.  Each piece is carefully extracted by hand as well as hand cleaned.
